Bernie Gnomes in Development at the Moment
Birdie and BerGnome II in early stages of development. (a wire armature, some tin-foil and preliminary sculpted of the oven-bake clay Super-Sculpty upon an initial layer of basic Sculpty. )
Working to finish up one or more additional Bernie Sanders-themed "Garden gnome" figures.
Well, actually the next main sculpture is an official gnome (no hat, etc.) but rather a bird (a species traditionally to gnomes). This Bernie Bird is in honor of Birdie Sanders - the iconic bird that flew down to hang out on Senator Sanders' podium during a speech he was giving in the 2016 Presidential Election.
The other new Bernie figure in the works is a BerGnome II a slightly smaller Bernie Gnome sculpture (holding Birdie in his hand). His development is on hold for the moment (Nov. 2020) but hopefully will be getting done soon too - maybe early 2021?

BerGnome Sanders - version II will stand 11.5" inches tall - and feature a little Birdie Sanders resting in his hand. - He's still got a ways to go 'til completion as you can tell. And the glasses always have to come last - and they really tie together his look - or so I'm hoping!
I'm using colored Sculptey sculpting material to create him - thus his rather colorful though unpainted look. More progress soon-ish!
